I'm probably forgetting something. I bought a smaller tool box just for the track to put my tools in and believe it or not, most of the above items fit in a large blue storage box I found at target, that fits in my back seat area.

Most of the spares listed above I have yet to need at the track but It always makes me feel better having them. Being stranded with a broken part would suck.

I bring 30+ gallons of race fuel too since it's cheaper to buy it for ~$5 a gallon vs. $7 a gallon at the track. (That's a $60 savings.) It helps to have a truck, but if it weren't for the rollbar I could have easily fit six fuel jugs in the trunk, four tires in the back plus tools and most of the other stuff people listed.

You were better than me. On my first track day, I didn't bring anything. But since I wrecked 25 minutes into the first session, it all worked out okay.

I, on the other hand, was thinking ahead. I brought a trailer. With a winch. Came in real handy.

Actually some tracks, like Infineon, wont even let you run around on scooters. :P

Is that an Sears rule or a NASA rule? I've rocked the Razor action at Sears at BMW HPDEs in the past...

I'm beginning to think it was more of a matter of the seats I was in. I noticed in my latest video where I have a full bucket seat + harnesses in my honda, my head doesn't lean nearly as much :P

I'm just giving you shit Mike:)

It IS much easier to keep your head in the correct position when you are not fighting to stay in the seat though...

damn, that is a huge list. how important is it to bring extra fuel pump, spark plugs, brake lines, and bov? I take it that this is for heavily modified cars.

Other than the plugs I wouldn't worry about having those items. It's just nice to have spares to keep from losing a day.

I didn't see it listed but maybe add:

datalogger
jumper cables
piece of wood to chock wheels

You can get a 3 suction cup camera mount at chasecam.com

Also, when do you know the power steering and acd pumps need new/more fluid?
