so....anyone care to explain to me on how to get more toruqe? i dont really care for HP as much as torque. but all the power adders i see have higher HP than torque. is there any stuff out there that will give me more tq than hp?

Why do you want more torque?

stroker will help or just swap your motor to a 4g64...

On a less extreme level a big laggy turbo will make much more peak torque.

Cams, headwork, sheetmetal intake exhaust and other boltons make some difference but getting dramatically higher than 350lbs or so is going to take more displacement or a bigger turbo.

hp is a function of torque x rpm... if you get more torque, you will get more hp.... i guess you want more torque at lower rpm. bump up the boost at lower rpm (with proper fuel enrichment), and/or add ignition timing.

do this and run 2.5 inch piping on the exhaust that will set you for earlier turbo sppol and in most turbo cars High Boost plus low rpm + more torque.

you could buy cam gears and experiment with advancing your intake and exhaust cam timing, which can have the effect of shifting your torque curve to lower RPM's, with some high-RPM torque penalty
