We're finally making these available to you guys up north. This system been offer to the Socal kids who live in fear of being pulled over by the PD or CHiP.

Price on the cat back system is $530 + tax if you resides in California and + shipping. There are two style offer and two material with the stealth system. Style A consists of 1 x 24" louvers style resonator and 1 x 18" straight through peforated resonator. Style B replace the 24" resonator with the straight through perforated style. Sound difference between the two is about 5 +/- 2 decibles. Both are coupled to a Magnaflow 3" inlet and 3" outlet muffler with a angle cut 3" pipe for a tip. The system is not crazy super duper humpty dumpty light like system from Japan. So you won't be saving any weight with this system over stock. And for those who insist on having full stainless steel, there's Style C. Which consist of all stainless steel construction. Only perforated style resonator is offer with Style C. Price on the Style C. is $670.00 Add $60 dollars if you want the stock EVO tip to be welded on. So far no one in Socal ask for Style C. All system is painted with high temp black paint.

Here is the thread in Socal EVO about the Stealth Exhaust.

you guys are going to love this IMO. having a quieter exhaust makes the Evo so much fun to drive :) this set up is seriously as quiet as stock, with a deeper rumble.

Here's a shot of the Stealth exhaust with the stock EVO tip welded on right before shipping. Also please note that due to the limited availability stock exhaust left behind or discard by customers here. We cannot always fullfil the request welding on the stock tip. If you want one done and don't mind donating your stock rear section. Send yours in and we'll chop it off and weld it on for $20 bucks.

Edit, if you want to save money on shipping. Cut your stock tip off as close to the body as possible and send it here instead of sending the whole rear section.

yes, except maybe for the IX's some people run 2.75'' downpipes for better clearance; the catback is complete 3'' with mandrel bends

So style B is louder than A by ~5db correct? Does it flow better then as well?

Other than the physical make up of the exhaust, and the sound, whats the difference between the two? Does one flow better than the other? Does one allow evos to eat more than 1 Porsche a day? How many more hoes witll one score me over the other? And do you offer free polishing with every $500+ purchase?

Thanks! :D

Straight through peforated style core vs. louvers style core is going to flow better on paper. But I don't have any actual numbers to prove otherwise. As for sound, it's negilbly louder than the louvers style but nothing like buzz bomb fart can sound like those from Apex'i or GReddy.

Care bear toonz with Care bear alignmentz will eat Porsches no problem, given if you have the supporting mods. :D

Here is a good image of the two resonator side by side. No one complained of the louvers style down here in socal. So far everyone love the sound and performance gains. As for flow, which is better is probably best explained by a cop you pull up next to them at the light.

Regarding the cat convertor. We have two styles (again). One is a "real" cat with a 3" inlet and 3" outlet. Bolts up to factory, but I don't know why one would want to do that. So this one is legal since the inners is the same as the factory cats and should pass smog no problem. Price is $170

And the other style is basically a "hi-temp resonator". Not legal for use on public roads of course. Here's is what the "hi-temp race cat" look like. Price is $220

I like that hi-temp race cat.Â* Do you have more info on it???Â* Would you know if this meets the definition of a high flow cat according to SCCA???Â* Â*If not...no biggie.Â* Thanks.

So far I'm happy with my RRE Stealth Catback. Quiet and stealthy looking while still having a full 3"piping all the way thru.
Installation was a snap, everything lined up and fit perfect.

As far as the RRE Rally Cat it works great as designed, but mine had a annoying rattling sound coming from inside the cat when I shake it.Â* :(

Luckily, Speed Element will replace it for free when they get more in stock.Â* Awesome vendor!

I wouldn't consider this a shameless plug. It's call customer service. If you purchased a Rally Cat either through us or SpeedElement and have the rattle problem. Feel free to call us and we'll take of it. There was a bad batch where the inside perforation wasn't made long enough and thoroughly welded. So overtime the perforation rattle loose.

As to answer the question if the rally cat is legal for SCCA or not. Well it's coated with the same heat resistance material found on regular factory cats. But there's no robidium, platinum, or whatever exotic metal found inside. Your best best to refer to the rulesbook and ask the official. But personally, I don't think it's legal.

What's the performance gains on these stealth systems?
What's shipping to SF?

StockEVO
01-27-2007, 10:06 AM
Performance gains? Well it's 3" straight through just like any other system out on the market right now.

Sorry I'm not a bean counter or a salesman who like to post dyno graphs to sell a product. But if you visit SocalEVO or ask other members here who have purchase the system, they can tell you first hand. Otherwise if you ask me, I'm going to tell you definatly need one and it's the best system out there right now evar! :D

As for shipping to SF, I need a zip. Shipping to a business address vs. residential saves you a couple of bucks. In general you're looking about $30-$40 bucks for shipping.
