Brian and Mike (edited-sorry Lock fam!) Lock took my car up to Mike's shop, Calculated Risk, and built this for me. I'll be vetting it on the track a week from Sunday at Laguna. Most people here probably know them from GotoRacing.

NIce!

Much better than the APR one, one of my friend got that and the apr full front CF panel, got a flat, and can't get towed. :x

Best looking design I've ever seen. This one will actually create downforce. When I put my APR on I didn't like the fact it didn't have enough rake. Plus, no access to that tow hook.

Back from Laguna and I'm happy with the diffuser. It obviously doesn't keep the rear end as planted as the APR wing but at no point was I worried about excessive lift from the tail.

oh so you ran without the wing?

have you run without wing before?

Wow, that diffuser looks really nice. It will be interesting to see if they ever go into production... I'm sure there's a demand for it.

Last time at Laguna (beginning of November) I ran without the wing. I've also run sans wing several times at Thill and at Sears.

As for production, I will talk to the Lock bros. I want to reduce the rattling before offering a production piece but I'm sure they have plenty of ideas how to do that.

Also keep in mind that the current version was designed explicitly for the Works AB - some parts will need to be redesigned for other mufflers (or lack thereof).

Quick updates:
At Laguna March 12 I felt no need whatsoever for a wing. I was also shifting into 5th earlier (before the crest). So it's at least reducing drag.

At Sears March 22 It was not quite enough in T10. Everywhere else it was fine. However, the rear of the car is up a bit too high and that could easily be reducing the diffuser's effects.
