Hmmmm, so our choices are:

1. Write a page or more on everything we (as a community) have learned over the last 4 years.

or

2. Tell you to search.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

I'm gonna go with.

stock turbo and variants = stock like drivability, limited power

big turbo and variants = almost stock like drivability, more power, different powerband with emphasis more on top end.

biggie godzilla turbo and variants = nothing is stock by now so it doesn't drive like stock but it sure does car bowling well.

Will the difference it turbo size and spec affect smog test?? Or it is up to how well the car is tune??

It's "like stock" as far as it being able to use the stock exhaust manifold. That's about it. If the smog employee knows what to look for it will not pass.

Remember you don't have to smog your evo for like 6 years unless u get sent to state ref.

look at my crappy cell pix sig. thats pretty much how a atp turbo looks like in stalled minus the aftermarket header in my engine.
Just as Bryan said a slightly larger then stock turbo takes some getting used to. @times in usual stop and go i forget im no longer stock and when i gas it i find myself sometimes wondering why im not spooling yet  its when i down shift to a lower gear or 2 then i realize i gotta do that to get into the bigger turbo's powerband  hope this helps :P
