I got into a stop-light altercation with a t3/t04 turbo integra gsr (exhaust, lowered, stock wheels, white, in case you are in the area sometime). The dude totally snooked me off the line because I had no fooking idea! I managed to scramble maybe 2 car lengths on him but shut it down in 2nd after he appeared to bounce off the rev limiter repeatedly (misshift I presume). At any rate I looked in my side view, saw the fmic and was like  ! Impressive, he was pretty cool too. :) We chatted for a second at the light before the 'race'.

Disclaimer: I don't give a fook what you say about racing. I don't feel compelled to tell you how the traffic was, what road I was on, what the conditions were, etc. So stfu.

What is this 'fine print' you speak of?? :?:

;)

BTW I should have said that back east, we don't see these kinds of things very often. Out here you never know what you are messing with!

I don't know why Honda simply refuses to use turbos...let go of the egos gentlemen...make a Turbo NSX and I'll be first in line  .

because they spent too much money developing NA engines with Vtec and also their engines run really high compression so going turbo is not good idea. Besides the fact that to make a turbo engine they will need to build an entirely need engine and that R&D money is not justifiable especially in todays economy. They're just out there making that dollar.

I ran into a non-VTEC teggy back in OH with a turbo kit on it. It was no slouch ;) He was right beside me through third gear from a 5 MPH roll.

I believe the only Honda engine with a factory turbo on it right now can be found on a waverunner :lol

I think there would be a fat market for turbo hondas. Look how many people and racers turbo their hondas. I've always liked honda quality, reliability, and how they're easy to work on. I'd consider one if it had a turbo motor that is as tunable and durable as a 4g63. Imagine if they came out w/ a turbo s2k.. drool..

Honda doesnt need to make a turbo. They make a NA motor redlining at 9 grand on an evenly waited car. Almost impossable with boost, and then the only way is to lower compression and way retard timing. Why loose power to gain? The only more you could ask for is AWD but I think that would ruin the 50/50. Imagine if you could change to a race cam profile while driving down the road with your 4G63 and raise the redline a couple thousand RPMs. That would be fun.

doesn't rev to 9 anymore. they upped the diplacment .2 liters to get like 4 ft/lbs of tq more and lowered the redline 800 rpms. go honda.
