Greeting Everyone!
I was just wondering what is the most effecient/best way to spend $ 2,000 that will maximize horsepower. I plan on doing more modifications as the funds become slowly available in the future, but I only have a budget of
$ 2 Gs for now. Please specify brands, models and what local performance shops here in the Bay Area supply and install them, thanks!

if you can swing a few hundred more, i like the vishnu stage 1. The exhaust is very nice, and i definately like the idea of going for cam gears. Cam mods seem to be one of the most cost efficient.

There is a new company coming out called BLOX. The will have cams very close to the HKS ones for less money. I am pretty sure I can get you some. PM me if you are interested.

I like the Buschur Racing 3" turbo back exhaust, personally. Then you could spend the remainder on a reflash or piggy back of your choice, be it Dynoflash, WORKS P2, TurboXS UTEC or Vishnu Tuning Xede (I don't think the Xflash works on the 04 Evos).
oh shit a evo in richmond, though iam the only one, hit me up we can do soem testing with mods, u can feel my p2 at work then decide

works is offering the TR303 package, it includes 'Brain Flash P2' required for optimum drivability and performance, an Aperture big-bore Throttle Body, and a free flowing Exhale Cat-back Exhaust. you will get a %5 discount for being a member of norcalevo.net, and if you are an scca member you will get another%5 discount.

Ditto
I don't think you could go wrong with with a power package from Gruppe-s. Along with a flash and you're all set.

imo, i would check out Cal at Gruppe-S. They have a power package that will rock. The Helix full 3" turbo back exhaust system. They have the turbo outlet pipe, down pipe, high flow cat, and cat back exhaust. thats a killer combo. then with that added extra power, it would be beneficial to do a reflash of some kind.
or
you can check out WORKS. they have a TR303 package that sounds promising.
good luck on your quest for power.

Greddy Ti exhaust = 825-875
Helix Ti Cat = 200ish
Helix DP = 240ish
HKS RS intake = 300-350
Shifter bushings underhood/shifter = 56 bucks shipped
B&M Adjustable Short Shifter=170-190
SS Brake/Clutch Line = 115 bucks + motul fluids 4 bottles 60 bucks
That puts u pretty close to 2000!
Best mods to get and cheap are:
B&M Adjustable short shifter = 170-200
Shifter bushings underhood/shifter = 56 shipped
ss clutch/brake lines lines = 115
4 bottles of motul = 60ish
HKS RS intake = 300-350
Never double mod! do research and pick the best one! or else you be spending a lot of money on your car! Pretty much everyone tried all the product out in the market already, so just read on the fee backs and go from there!
