Hey, im still kinda new to turbo tech, so whats the diff betweeen a gt30 with a .63 A/R and a .82 A/R?? Does it affect the spool characteristics differently? The power?? I dont get it.... :?

There are so many different variants of the 30r, thats why the results are all over the place. the gt3076 -12, .63 is what AMS sells in their kit, and what Martin at AMS runs on his personal car.

i believe mygsx's is a ATP 3071. the hotside a/r is ATP's own design w/ integrated external wastegate. not sure of a/r size though. going bigger, Elliot?

in ATP's kits, you can choose your A/R to your liking, .63, .82, or the ridiculous 1.0x....

Hello, on the coldside it's engraved a Garrett A/R 50 then the hotside supposedly is a A/R .62

I had a gt30r with .82 a/r and 4" inlet on a 2.3l dsm and the car made 513 awhp at fftec.
