thats was fun... that 900+ horsepower viper = ridiculous. I got cornered by a lady who wanted to know if the yellow ferrari emblem on her stardale challenge made it look to busy damn. Im getting a ferrari one day.

Talking to that guy with the viper, he said he boke traction on the dyno at 900 so he estimated 1100 at the wheels with NoS.

yesterday, I saw two gt's - silver on ocean ave / red on cannery row. one red enzo on display in front of the marriot. the gt has definately become my dream car, now if i could just save up the 350-400 grand or win the lotto.

I was at laguna on sat and sunday. We were going to head down to pebble beach on sunday, but we wanted to watch the f1 cars instead. I got to sit in and start up the working prototype ME four-twelve. That is a sick car. Met Derek Bell and basically hung out at the top by turn 8 the rest of the day. Saw a factory RUF CTR 993 at the porsche corral. I saw the enzo at cannery row, also saw the 2 diablo's and one murcelagio. Saw 2 gallardo's on sat night by lalla's. Plenty of million dollar cars out this weekend. Was good.

evo grim - i work in salinas, so most of my driving during the week is on hwy68 and around salinas. you possibly would see me on the weekends driving around monterey usually right after i wash my car.

I drive 68 every day.. where have you been... never seen an evo on 68. I live off of portola road just as you enter salinas, but i work at dole on blanco near the 101 entrance.



edit.. actually i think i did see a silver evo the first day i moved to california around nob hill.

My wife drives the evo durring the week, she works in carmel. I saw a white one in the valley like 5 days in a row but never again.

You guys gonna autocross in marina on the 29th? If not we got to get together sometime, do a drive or something. You can come out and check it at Marina airport, should be a few evos out there, like Tam and chrisw.

bdking57 - i'm on hwy68 early in the morning(6:00am) going to work and late in the afternoon(5:00pm) on the way home. i saw you this morning driving into salinas. do you have out of state plates? your the first red evo i've seen in the area.

Evo Grim - they started auto-x again in marina? cool! i don't auto-x but like to watch.

bdking/grim - let's set something up for a drive/meet out here in monterey. let me know.

Prob go to that wheels place in the seaside auto center. I tried to get some jag wheeles worked on at the local tire shop and they said to go there. Don't know who I would trust around salinas. My uncle has soledad tire if you wanna drive that far. What you doin with the stockers, Brian is it?

i have no plans for the stockers... looking to sell them cheap.

oh yeah.. i also talked to a guy named chris last night, he lives downtown in monterey.. is a white STI owner with gunmettalic volks with a liscense plate that says realing.. think he might wanna cruise with us if we get something together. Since there are so few evos in the area, we should see if some of the local STi guys wanna get together for a cruise.

I got a wedding on sat and autocross on sun but I could handle a weeknight drive. Being local I know a few spots. Maybe we should just meet up first for coffee or something.

no.. no tires, i can keep the stocker on the rotas, but im going up to the 255s soon i think, they are new. just make me a reasonable offer on them.
