Movies of the Weekend

So, since the last time from the small gathering other at D&B's, I wanted to go to the movies to watch AVP, well at that night is was sold out. So, I decided to catch an early showing the next day, but ended up not doing anything else but being a nerd and a geek. ( Playing PS2 Toyko Racing Extreme , **The last one for the PS2**).

Did anyone see AVP, this past week, please share your review about the movie.

I think it is all the hipe about the movie, I think too much expectation for the movie.

That's too bad, it looked like it had a lot of potential...was planning on seeing it last night, but time didn't allow. After hearing mainly negative things, AVP will definitely be a matinee.

AVP was laughably bad--so predictable and cheesy it was comical (at times). My recommendation is to see it, but only if someone else is paying for it (in my case, it was an "off-site" for my group at work :twisted:).

I think is a tite movie, although the story is kinda stupid and 2 of the predator die sorty early, 1 died even without a fight with the alien.... how sad....

Okay, all the people in the world have different taste, some people doesn't like it doesn't mean other doesn't like it, I watched it, I think it was good, if you want to know if is good, go watch it urself, if you like Alien and Predator, go see it, don't have to care what other people think, I am a big fans of them, so I like it

of course other people have different opinions. thats why i listen to what everyone has to say. movie prices these days are so ridiculous. if i get enough opinions that a movie sucks, then i'll wait to rent it at the local video store for $2 (forget blockbuster) and save myself some money.

I wasn't trying to knock anybody's movie choices, trust me, I've liked some serious bombs....The Chipmunk Adventure, anyone? See, even someone with perfect taste can still like the occasional J. Lo movie...(selena was bomb yo.)

Actually my deepest, darkest secret is that I may be the only one who "liked" FnF....Thought it wasn't that bad.....well, as bad as the second one as least.

I rented a pretty good movie called "Thirteen"

I thought the emotions seemed very real and reminded me of my relationship with my mom at that age.

I'd recommend renting it...

I also rented "Flight of the Navigator"

Have you guys heard of a film or a movie called "Shawn of the Dead", I think it is a spoof or the movie "Dawn of the Dead". I just saw that film or movies just this week. I have to say it is funny and at time it is serious. I like the film.
If you have a chance go watch it, or I'll see want I can do to transfer a 300-600 MB mpeg to you. If anyone is interested.

Went out and got the HERO DVD ($19.95) at a Asian video place at Cupertino in front of Q-Cups last Monday night... tell you I love the movie!! (Subtitled). A must watch movie.. for me anyway.. I recommend!!
