Mach III in SF. That's where I am getting my windows tinted.

www.machiii.net

Actually, since you live near Pleasanton, you might want to try out Omega Tintworks. They are right next door to Vishnu Tuning's dyno shop.

What does the clear bra look like?
Basically, nothing. It's a clear plastic film that goes over the front of the car, tightly bonded so you can't see it at all from more than a few feet away.

More like a product that protect to front end of the car from rock and bugs?

Yup, that's basically what it is. All the protection of a bra for people who don't like the look (or weight ;)).

It's too late for my car, which has tons of rock chips on the hood and plenty on the bumper... not to mention a few indelible cone marks.

he is the best!!!!!! :D

he has been doing it for about 18 yrs now (i think) - since high school.

he does a lot of the tint and clear bras for the s2000, 350z, and other car forums around the bay area.

he works by himself and takes pride in his work!!!!!

i don't have any tint on my car, just a clear bra, but if i did do tint, i'd do the lightest all the way around, just to get the uv rays off of the interior.

One thing bad about tinting is that you can never use your rear defroster anymore. If you ever see cars with all those ugly bubbles in the rear window, you'll understand what I mean. I am still contemplating on getting the clear bra. Some say after awhile it turns yellowish also I'm planning on get the C-West front.....hopefully.

Do you know what your saying??? i bet you never had your car tinted, have you...i have had all my cars tinted and always used the defroster...and they never bubbled... they ones that bubbled are the ones who did it themselves...these are professionally done by guys who guarantee their work....

buying/installing a clear bra cost a lot of money since it is very difficult to put on the film. i had an estimate from some clear bra place for about $600+.

Sup Big John and Evo owner...

im the owner and operator of Omega Tintwerks. i ve been in this profession since `89. i pretty much seen it and done it all. tinting the rear glass will not, i repeat will NOT render the rear defroste line inoperable. cars w/ purple/bubble tints are done w/ 3 - 5 yrs. warrantty dye films types. do your research on the shops and check out their work bfore jumping in. always ask for lifetime warranty film.

here to do your bidding. PM me or better yet call me
