And was found not guilty. This is how I started my speech

"why is it that a police officer doesn't need to prove anything and accuses the defendant of a crime and is presumed guilty by the court? I say no, its supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. And I stand here today to be proven guilty."

basically the cop ate one afterwards.

Not guilty on mod'd exhaust, 94mph, evading arrest and at the last minute they even tried assault on a police officer. Because I was ....."uncooperative" in their words. Hah, shit backfired on them.

What did you do? (why do you have to go to court?)

if this was traffic court, you are guilty until proven innocent. Reason being is that the statement "innocent until proven guilty" only applies to criminal court.

Thus, it is the defendants obligation to provide proof otherwise.

I didn't know this at the time, but the judge interrupted me and informed me. I then changed my arguement and actually convinced the judge that the cops case was based on heresay and the charges were dropped (most of them).
