Any one down for a little 1/4 mile track time? I'll be there right after work when the gates open. And is anyone still close to stock that I can grudge against?

As of right now.... 14.5 - 14.7 on a decent day without the greatest traction in 1st gear.

Is your clutch slipping?

Gates open at 4:30 and the fun begins around 5.

No, although a better one would help. It's just 18" wheels on 40 series tires just don't bit that well. Not to mention being a truck (no EVO yet  ), I'm light in the ass end. Much of the issue was remedied by installing an LSD. I just need to pony up and get a decent set of drag tires.

Well, it looks like I will not be able to make it tonight. I hate it when things pop-up last minute :x Hope to see you all out there next week though. :(

Any chance the mods will start after next Wed?

I thought you had an EVO, that's why I aksed about the clutch.

That's a pretty quick truck. You can beat or keep up with most EVOs at the track!

Well, the EVO 8 will be my next car. Just have to wiat a bit and joined the forums here to feed my addiction

Thanks! And I still have to do some tuing to my fuel and timing maps and install the water injection. I would think 14.5 would be kind of slow for an EVO (I have no idea though as I have seen a few fun hight 13's), but I still want to do a head to head race just for comparison sake. :)

Again, sorry I can't make it out to the track tonight. Hope to meet some of you in the near future.
