I was wondering if they meant the 05 models? Does this hold true for the 03's and 04's as well:roll:? Either way it's still pretty cool.

It actually might be acurate. After having owned an M3 and a 740il, BMW's do not hold their value much more than a lot of cars. It all depends on the model. The e-46 M3 holds a lot of value, as does any 5 series, but garden variety 3's do not. A few percentage points of perceived value matters little. Also, the SRT-10 is very limited production, and the fastest truck (production stock) in the worls, with a very high demand right now. Just try to buy one in California!

Peace.

Might it have to do something with Mitsu's new much-vaunted 10-year warranty? Not that it would do me any good, what's a 10-year warranty worth when they'll void it after one autocross event?

I think finding a good shape never modded EVO in a few years will be hard. Those are probably the ones that will be worth more to buyers. After reading about the experiences some people go through while modding and driving their cars on these forusm, I'd be scared to buy a used EVO!
