1 - Lay your hood scoop on the foam matting and place the honeycomb mesh over the hole.
2 - Place one screw through the mesh and screw it into the bottom left hole provided.
3 - Rotate the honeycomb mesh so that it covers the hole and try and screw in some more of the screws - the more the better!

4 - Start to cut the honeycomb to the shape of the hole, making sure that it overlaps the edge. You may also need to cut around some of the screw holes to fit in the other screws.

Remove the old Vent

1 - Release your hood and put it up.
2 - Using the large screwdriver remove the 4 plastic screws.
3 - Using the 10mm socket remove the 6 bolts holding the vent in place.
4 - Pull the vent away from the hood at the two metal circlips.
5 - Lift the vent cover out from the top.

Fit the new Scoop

1 - Put the hood down, but don't close it fully.
2 - Place the mesh over the left side of the hole in the hood and make sure it fits.
3 - Open the hood and place the hood scoop into the hole over the mesh.

4 - If you have an RMR cold air intake skip to step 9.
5 - Close the hood slowly and check to see if the funnel fits over your air intake. If it does go to step 9.
6 - Mark the funnel or guess how much will need to be removed to fit your air intake.
7 - Place your hood scoop back on the foam matting and then cut away the excess funnel with the hacksaw.
8 - Repeat steps 5 - 7 until it fits. Go on to step 9.

9 - Line the mesh and the hood scoop up so that you can get the first bolt into the bottom left hand hole and screw it in loosely.
10 - Line up the mesh so that you can see the other holes and put in the bolts for them loosley.
11 - Tighten the bols with your 11mm socket on the socket screwdriver. Only do them hand tight - DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN!
12 - Put back the metal circlips and the plastic screws that hold the heat shield in place.
13 - Slowly close the hood to make sure that it all fits okay.
