Quick question about smog.

Hey all,

I have a WW IX that I'm in the process of selling. When I sold my previous car, I know that even if the car is less than 2 years old, you have to get it smogged before selling it.

Is that still true today? Or did they change the smog law when you transfer a title?

You do not need to smog it unless something has changed since I sold my 2004 WRX 2 years ago.
