WORKS would like to thank all that attended our Grand Opening at Infineon Raceway on Saturday October 27th. It was great to see so many faces—new, familiar and those that we don’t see often enough—that made the trek up the hill to our facility. We would also like to expressly thank Mitsubishi for their support, giveaways and allowing us to showcase some of their historic race cars as well as the MRDA Eclipse. We want to thank Infineon Raceway and their staff for making the accommodations at the front gate to allow everyone access to the event. We extend one last thank you to the NASA folks in coming up the hill from the track itself and wishing us well.

The feedback from everyone was overwhelmingly positive—from the facility, to the food, to the cars and the people themselves. It is always a good time when discussing racing and high performance cars while looking over all the wonderful machines that were parked in and around the shop. WORKS hopes that you enjoyed the event as much as we did. Feel free to post your thoughts, experience and/or pictures below.

We look forward to future events as well. WORKS intends to host open houses with some surprises in the coming years, especially when incorporated with a track event at the raceway. Thanks again and stay tuned!

Is this ustcc evo's new lancer? I don't know what you guys did to the front, but it looks way better than the Evo X IMO.

Hello Matz,

This is the WORKS SpeedWorld Challenge Touring Lancer. Many more details to follow after the Los Angeles International Autoshow in November. It will be on display in the Mitsubishi booth.

 r u kidding me? That front doesn't look like the lancer pics I remember. Ok, well... way to go Mitsubishi. :)

EDIT -- ok, I blame this picture for tricking me... must be the angle of the shot.

Dave,
There's a different aero treatment, fog lights, etc... on the GTS models.

What we have here are pics of two different, completely unrelated cars. My Lancer is the white one on the trailer, and will debut on track at the 25 Hours of Thunderhill along with my USTCC winning '04 Evo. My team currently has no relation or association with WORKS other than they were an associate sponsor last year who provided some of their parts and ECU tuning for USTCC and the '06 25 Hour.

The silver one at the WORKS shop was given to WORKS for a WC effort. They'll have some competition, but I still have races to run this year before I even start to think about that...
