Are there any evo's owners out there with experience of this tire?

I know the RE750 isnt the best tire out there, I am trying to balance tire life vs. performance.

My other tire consideration if the F1 GS-D3.

Any feedback is welcomed.

pretty good tires for the price....some sizes do get too expensive tho...

the dual-layer tread helps too as the tire wears..wont be like the advans sounding like brakes are metal to metal when you slow down

In case you haven't read what I think of the F1 GS-D3s, read this: http://www.norcalevo.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2333

I shipped back the set I got from Tire Rack this morning.

The F1 GS-D3s are the OEM tire on the Golf R32; I asked one R32 owner what he thought of them and he said he hated them--they were just way too soft.

Best bang for the buck in dry traction are the Falken Azenis Sports (245/45-17)--I just ordered another set of these from vulcantire.com. If you want something a bit better in the wet, I'd recommend the Kumho Ecsta MX. The Yokohama AVS Sport might be a good intermediate (wet/dry) tire as well, though I've no experience with them.

re750 is a kick ass tire that lasts....I would def. recommend them.

The Goodyear's are garbage...I ALSO have a friend with an R32 and he hates them.

I have the Pontenza S03, is working great, very grip, hard sidewall, I think RE750 won't be bad neither
