View Full Version : Falken tire size 4 oem wheels?
Do the Falken ST-115's & ZE 512's run wide?
A lot of post say to go with the 225's Azenis, but I am not sure if they're refering to the only the "Sports" or all falkens.
If I wanted a similar footprint to the 235 A-046, go with a 225 falken xyz?
Is this still the concensus?
I am now considering the Falken ST-115's or ZE 512's. A lot of post say to go with the 225's.
Has anyone tried the ZE 512's?

FWIW, I run 245/45-17 on the stock wheels, fits just fine; I just ordered a fresh set from VulcanTire.com in fact.

what tire model & brand?
Duh, sorry, missed that part. Falken Azenis Sports (RT-215?).
I just ordered a fresh set from VulcanTire.com in fact.
Why did you choose vulcan over, edgeracing or hptire? I have never bought tires from any of these vendors, so I am hoping to gain some 1st hand insight.
thanks.

I hadn't heard of edgeracing or hptire, but I've ordered once before from Vulcan; that time I had to cancel because the Azenises were backordered. They now have a special inventory status display on the Azenis Sports because they are so often backordered. A couple weeks ago they were showing as "backordered" but changed to "available" last week. Mine shipped out yesterday.
Had I know about EdgeRacing I might have gone for the 255/40-17 Toyo T1s.

225s looklike rubber bands and ride quite harsh,245 has week/soft sidewall that hampers proper turn in....thats the problem w/ a manufactuer that didnt have your car in mind
look into toyo t1-s there pretty good(130+a tire),ive heard of alot of horror stories on azenis
