I gave my Fujifilm film camera to my mom a few years ago and I have been shooting digital since 7/4/01 8) I bought my Canon Powershot A20 just in time for the fireworks. I actually do want to buy a nice SLR Film camera like a Nikon N55 to mess around with since I already have Nikon lenses.

I still have an old Nikon FM2 camera with the motor drive that allows it to achieve 3.5 FPS!!!!

I used to take liking pics with film, but developing it is just annoying. Plus, I'd have to scan it onto my computer afterwards.

I still use it
Nikon N5005 Film Camera
shoots good

and develop film at costco and they put the pics on a disc to
put onto your computer

now scanning pics onto your comp is ODL SCHOOL!

Nikon F2 and FE. Even with the small 35 mm format, a quality slide transparency can contain 100 mb of information from a good scan. If you are shooting 2.25 or 4x5 formats, you are talking many times that. If you are selling or making quality prints, film is still superior.

Eventually, this too will change as you cannot fight the electrons..............OK, I feel old now.

i still use it as well for some medium format work. also because medium format digital backs costs arms and legs.
