k i got a state ref ticket a couple months ago...it was for tinted windows and modified emissions $400 smackers..the cop put the "no officer sign off state ref cert. req" sticker on the back of the ticket. my question is do i still have to take it to a ref or am i good since i paid the fine??

I think that after you paid the fines, then you don't have to get it state ref.

I think when it comes to emissions violation and since the cop put down "ref. ticket req." you still have to go to the ref. for the sticker. The $400 is for driving a known emission modified vehicle.

wait Im a little lost.

If you got a mod'd exhaust ticket then u get sent to bar and they put a sticker on the back after you pass the 95db limit test. then u go to court and have it thrown out. other wise u pay the fine, (dont have to ref it) and next time its I think 1000. 3rd or 4th ur car is possibly impounded as a gross polluter.

Yea I've herd since u pay the fine the ref inspection gets taken care of..I guess we'll see..anyone have stock 8 cams just in case
