Here is some pics I took today. Im starting to get a better grasp on the basics.. I think I have taken roughly 2500 pics in the last two weeks and just now things are starting to make a little more sense. Tell me what you guys think, and what I could be doing better..

thanks for the compliment overdrive.. Setting a focus point is pretty straight forward actually. I like that pic you quoted but there is a bunch of stuff thats still wrong with it.

I had a couple Pm's asking what I was using to take the pics and its just a cheap ass canon rebel XT I got off craigslist for $250 and a kit lens with a ebay wide angle adapter.. Yes Im ghetto like that and am just using an adapter on the kit lens. The first pic is with a 50 prime though.

I'm no photographer so those may very well be nice shots... But the scene doesn't appeal to me. No offense er anything. But then I've never been into those colors anyways. I do like the last one tho! Not your typical sunset where you can see everything. Everything under the horizon is visible, but dark. Letting you focus on the light reflecting of the clouds more. Great pic!

Thanks for the feedback man. I hear where your coming from cause its not my cup of tea either. I really do like the black and white of the vine's though :D
