Come check out two WORKS EVOs at the San Francisco International Auto Show this week.

We have our rally EVO in the Motorsports Hall at the SCCA area near Ferrari and Aston Martin to celebrate our SFR SCCA '04 Rally Championship.
And we also have our top gun MR in the Mitsubishi Motors booth with the Ralliart Endeavor.

The show runs from Nov. 21st (Sun.) thru the 28th (Sun.) at the Moscone Convention Center in downtown San Francisco. Hope to see you there!

Your point being? Rallycross is cone-dodging on dirt. Hella fun yeah, but still not real rallying. I don't see any shop cars doing autocross; you gotta do real roadracing to earn real credibility. Same goes for rally vs. rallycross. :P

Yeah we would like to do some hardcore rallying as well.
Unfortunately in this area, there are no such events. Therefore we just have to participate in what we have available and follow through with it as far as we can go.

If you can help organize full fledged rallies here in Northern California, we're behind you all the way and we'll be there!

I volunteered at Rim of the World this year, doesn't that count? ;)

Tell you what, I'll happily volunteer at any of the rallyes up and down the West coast if WORKS competes in them; who's with me? :rally:

Are you guys entering RIM and Goram (spelling*) this season? They are both in Cali and are fairly hardcore (RIM especially on the car)

i thought this thread was about WORKS @ the SF international car show?

dont kno if i have time, but ima try to make it this week, prolly early next week.

and, really, vtluu, is it really necessary to point out the rally *cross* isnt real rallying? whats YOUR point? everytime someone talks about an organized event; rally, EOC, or whatever, you gotta throw in your $.02 about it. i dont want/need your change anymore, i kno you have an opinion on this forum, but its starting to get annoying, almost condescending...

if you dont have anything good to say, dont say anything at all...or at least lie about it!

No, maybe trade the other Evo if you have the money for this car, I think it's 40K+. If I had to choose which Evo of yours to trade it would be the 2003 Evo, not the MR. But I think I would rather have two Evos.....the Elise is not pratical, but it does perform great!

sometimes is not just about how the car perform all the time, think about how rare they are, how people will look at ur car, ur class, the Lexury, the fun, the joy of a new car. If I have a Evo Already, I won't spend another 30+k on another Evo.. "I would spend it on something else for sure"

True, but for me the Elise is not practical (2 doors and no trunk space), I would rather have another Evo or an STi, one for daily driving/long trips/snow, and one for taking to the track. Just my opinion. I personally could care less about what "class" people put me in because of the car I drive.

No doubt it is a fun and limited car though, and probably pretty reliable with that toyota engine. If I had money lying around I would pick one up for sure (along with a fleet of some other roadsters), but if I had to choose between Elise and M5, I would rather have a new M5 like Wilson is getting

Damn Wilson, first an MR, and now an M5?? You gotta take me for a spin when you get it!!

The new M5 engine is truly badass and is a work of art. 5.0L V10, 507hp, 8250rpm redline, aluminum block, 10 individual electronically controlled throttle bodies, etc etc...

I wanna hear how the exhaust sounds on this thing!
