In the latest Car and Driver, there is a shoot out versus the STI, VW R32 and the Evo X GSR.

Third place: STI
Second place: VW R32
First place: Evo X GSR

It will be interesting to see what reviews look like once the MR comes out, or more importantly, the MR versus the GSR versus the STI.

car and driver, road & track and motortrend for the march issues all gave the evo X 1st place. really backwards from what the japanese reviews were.

^^ just what I was going to say. The Japanese reviews all had teh STI layin the smack down in teh Evo X.



Less power output in stock form but better overall. Sounds good.

I just got my copy of R&T over the weekend. They did just that... Evo MR vs. GSR vs. STI.

Drag racing, MR just plain sucks. They ran a few laps around Streets of Willow and the MR turned the fastest time 1:31xxx, GSR 1:32xxx, and the STI 1:34xxx

They were very impressed with the MR how smooth it was, and how fast it was around the track!
