thanks for sharing but damm that dual mirror crap is so corny...It's sad that mitsu is still using that 2005WRC spec car...I hope they get some funding soon...

I think it's funny that they are still playing on the whole rally angle when Mitsubishi no longer has any involvement with WRC. The only mitsus left rallying are all privateers.

Even though Mitsu isn't going WRC'ing any time soon, I have to believe the design team of the X has a lot of roots in building cars that need to hold up to some punishment. There will be plenty of people using this car for Group N and other rally related motorsports and Mitsubishi knows this.

One of the reasons they redisigned the layout of the intake and exhuast to route the exhaust/turbo out the back of the motor was to help the Evo fly. Previous generations were notorius for poor jumping characteristics because they would nose over in the air due to front weight bias.

The new 5 speed is also stronger to handle motorsport useage.
