Yeah, it is $450.00. However, I have learned from experience that you get what you pay for. The 76mm Ceramic coated downpipe from Works has no tie bar clearance issues, and is absolutey gorgeous!! Bolts up tight :D

We have the downpipes ready for all the '05's and the MR. Full 3" no reducers, resonators etc. Doesn't need to be coated as it is 100% CNC mandrel bent 304 stainless, so it will never rust. $275. Flanged on both ends so you can bolt it to any offroad pipe or cat out there.

The WORKS downpipes are coated not to inhibit rust (as they are T-304 stainless), but to keep excessive heat away from the oil pan as well as the ACD and other drivetrain components.

And I can attest that the ceramic coating WORKS pretty damn well :P I touched my hand to my DP several minutes after stopping the car, and although the IP and AB were still hot (ouch) the DP was nearly room temperature.

Great piece of equipment, that is well worth the money.

Thanks for clarifying Jamie. Sorry, I assumed it was coated for longevity.

I guess I will have to offer coating on ours too;)

Vendors working together? I think I just witnessed Works (Jaime) give Buschar (Dave) a good idea. AND they're being civil about it. What is this world coming to.... haha You guys are definately #1 on my list... Well #1 and #2 but not sure which order...

I wouldn't say "working together", but competition is good for the consumer. :D

Helix ver2 downpipe fits MR as well. $199 including Kartboy downpipe bushings :)

yeah the Helix V2 DP works for the 05 MR, but I would recommend getting stiffer bushings because the clearance for the DP from the transfer case isnt that great.

i have the helix v1 with kartboy bushings and it does not rub. it just have a little bit of clearance issues but it was all cleared up by the v2. good alternative down pipe if you are on a budget.

Neither :) I think there's some variability in what you get out of the Helix. Therefore, some fit better than others.
