oh wow i had 2 of my other friends in the car last night
and my car is full of crap, including all my cases of soft drinks,
system, amps, speakers, optima battery etc...anyways this 5.0 stang comes rolling up next to me and him and his girl are like starring at me and we both make i contact, and we're all smiling right...so i give him the nod, and then he floors it (i let him step on it first) this was going down white road and aborn...and like omg i was goin like 2k rpm in third and im like okay f*ck it lets do this haha...so i floor it and i only had to stay in 3rd gear the entire time but next thing you know i was at 80 plus MPH i think and i just dusted the crap out of him as i looked in my rear view, he was like a small fire fly lolz...me and my friends were like holy crapola u just smoked the crap out of a 5.0 lolz, we all do remember his car trying really hard cuz we also heard him downshift hehe...oh well it was an awesome kill....i just hope i dont run into that SL600 i raced back in august lolzzz....that car is sooo fast....o.O

mine wasn't exactly a small fire fly. maybe by 3-5 cars =) he started off a fender on me too. i actually shifted to 4th to gain that extra 1-2 cars

Turn 1: maximum entry speed around 60mph (though last time I got big oversteer on the new tires) as the turn is slightly off-camber. Do not trail-brake!
Turn 2: "hairpin" emphasizing the notion of "slow in, fast out". Downshift to 2nd, accelerate hard merging onto the short straight otherwise known as Central Expwy.
Turn 3: downhill turn, slightly banked, maximum entry speed just below 50mph.
Turn 4: look out for oncoming traffic before the turn left into the parking lot. Immediate right or I end up in humungo-speedbump-land.
Turns 5-9: parking lot of former (now empty) Covad offices. What a few of us here call "the autocross course". The route avoids all the speedbumps in the lot. Most people do the straight bypass going from 6 to 9 (with a speedbump to swerve around near the "9")... but what fun is that? Often I'll follow a car in and beat them to 9 taking the curvy way around.
Finish: I slow right down and take it easy once I enter the company parking lot.

;) Coming back from Evvia (downtown Palo Alto) I just gave 4 friends a little "tour" of the course. Car was obviously a bit sluggish weighted like that but still felt good; got a nice little controlled oversteer on turn 3. :lol:

so im driving down capitol expressway to drop off my gf's friend at her car near silver creek highschool, 2 were about to race at a light. bam you see and hear them burning out and take off. next thing you know i was a couple of cars in back of the streetracers when i hear a siren. i pulled to the left lane in back of this rav4 cuz i didn't want to have him think that i was part of it.

after i saw the cop zoomin pass me, i went back to my lane to see what happen. i think one of the car was speeding and trying to escape. the other just slowed down and made them think that they weren't part of it. so now that car that escaped was around the silver creek area. i see like cops in every corner and a helicopter. i guess trying to catch that guy. made a left on silver creek towards school, when a cop pulls up next to me lookin at my gf and her friend all crazy.

but i just act cool and be normal. dropped my gf with her friend and head home. after i dropped them off i saw a cop pulled right out of this block. then he followed me for a bit. got skurred cuz this was actually my first car that had an exhaust so i wasn't use to driving around normal. next thing you know, he made a u-turn and zoomed off. pretty crazy... they're cracking down on the streetracers forsho on capital expressway.

not only that they have undercover cop cars too. better watch out. take it safe at the track guys not on the streets. else you get your lovely car impounded =(

well here's the highlight for the day:i just found out that we had a brush fire that started on the top of the hill in our backyard and from what the fireman told me that it burned a few acres and was spread out.even our driveway was blocked for a few hours and the street closed they had to get a few trucks to bring in some more water.
