I dont think a month is very shortly. :? I could be wrong but I think he's going to need something sooner then that...... Also you might wanna consider putting some miles on it before it gets put through its paces on the dyno.

Yea, your probably right.

....You know I was actually thinking about breaking it in on the dyno. Would you recommend against that? I'd get impatient waiting for 1,500 miles to roll around...

1500 miles is absolutely fucking stupid IMO. Just dont redline it, no peak boost right off the bat and vary your speed. Backroads are the best for all of the above IMO. Another thing that I strongly beleive in is heat cycles. Meaning dont drive more then 75-100 miles at a time and dont drive it less the 10-15 at a time. Get it hot and keep it hot for a little bit then let it cool ALL the way down. This is usually how we broke race bike motors in on the dyno and it works great. If you do that I would say you should be able to beat it up on the dyno no problem after about 600 miles which is about 15-20 heat cycles. Now this is just my $.02 and I'm sure tons of people will disagree with me, but one thing I can say for sure from my experience is that EVERY motor I had seen that has been babied from the start has been down on power. Thats everything from singles, twins, fours and v8's. Even my friends alcohol Briggs and staton picked up .35whp with the method above :D

Waiting for the ecuflash to support the EVOX.

Not opposed to other flashes, just used it on my evo8 and loved it. It's hard to wait though. I'm still on the stock map, with a horrible idle for now.

Why don't u get the factory flashes, they helped my X a lot
