There is one thing I wll say about the Evo.. If other drivers (especially these 55mph loving geriatrics that seem to populate the freeways here) do not classify your driving as crazy, its likely you are not driving the car properly.

I always find myself cruising at 80 and wondering why traffic is going so slow.

I think he drove it too hard for a test drive unless he bought the car. I'd hate to get that one

+1 on Bryan with his kitty milk runs

"Holy zoom-in zoom-out Batman!!!" , someone not only driving the evo for the first time....but first time using a camera as well, they really like the buttons.

"gotta love the brembos" lol

even if just bought the car...accelerating like that and jamming on the brakes?!?!

I guess he took the term "engine BREAK" literally!

was he rpm-matching on those downshifts? it sounded like a LOT of engine-braking flipping that last bish before the "brake test". i hope hes got a good break-in prior to all this...poor cylinders and brakes :(

I don't think thats driving it too hard. It's too hard for a test drive, but hell I'll admit on a test drive to buy a new car, I too will drive it like that, I'm not going to purchase the one I just mauled thats for sure. :)

A customer told me that every time he's seen an EVO, it's always in the left lane passing everyone else up.

Who ever put that video together should be fucking shot on scene. How many times can you show the same damn car from just a slightly different angle, and then zoom in on the gay ass emblems? That video was a waste of my life. the person could not rive to save their life, and if you think thats being hard on a new car you would hate to see how I break in new bikes.

I really pity the X, not the driver. He abused it too much even before the break-in period.

That's what I'm saying. Even worse, imagine the guy who buys it after him.

Screw that. My X better have .001 mile on it, and not even that!

There should be less than a mile on the odometer and your all good...

DirectorSe7en
03-20-2008, 02:31 PM
 I'm just kidding, I'll understand if there are some miles.

But since I plan on getting it Day 1, I wouldn't understand why there'd be 10-15 miles.

SavageEvo8
03-20-2008, 03:14 PM
all cars, if PDI'd correctly, should have between 3 and 7 miles minimum, so if its got less than it hasnt been officially "road tested"

DirectorSe7en
03-20-2008, 03:27 PM
Ahhh, good to know...

Boostd4
03-31-2008, 09:21 AM
My X had 6 miles on it when I picked it up. With cars like these it's a must that no one has touched them prior to a little break in.

^+100,000

Especially since you know anyone trying to test drive is probably trying to push the car.
