This is how they should come from the factory. And I don't see why it doesn't.

Because Americans can't/wont put up with the maintenance schedule of the car.

Oh BTW did you notice that it had a VG on the car...hummm

True that. Well, I guess it'd be nice to pay extra for the option...

If I can get that VG for my X. I'd do it, functionality or not, I love the look.

yeah.. what the hell, I was excpecting the standard evo X to have this level of performance... Its also priced higher then a GTR! Cool, yet they must have lost their minds.

I wonder what they specificly modded to get those numbers and if it's for the SST as well..... :?

You're paying for all that damned carbon fiber.

AWDrift

dont quote me on this but i THINK the SST only goes as far as the fq300.

mods probably consist of usual bolt ons. air filter, exhaust, etc. etc.

That is the conversion from pounds to US dollars (which sucks right now). Which I'm not sure why they did that because we can't buy the car here anyway.

If you did that with the normal Evo X, it would be $55,828. Which of course it's not. it's about $13,000 cheaper here

The FQ-360 is £35,499.00 which makes it £8,000 more than the FQ-300 or £3200 more than the FQ330.

It's not more than the GTR. C'mon now... If you did the pounds conversion 55k to us dollars, the GTR would be $112,676. Is it? No it's not.

The FQ models are usually normal Evo's with HKS bolt on parts and ecutek reflashes. Usually different intake, ic pipes, exhaust and cat.

I would imagine a FQ-360 would do 290-300whp.

Makes sense. Do you know if the mods are cost friendly.

For example; $30k Evo GSR + Buying your own mods $2k = $32k

Buying already modded Evo FQ360 for $40k when it only has $2k worth of mods.

You know?

Kind of a moot point since we don't get the FQ-360s. But yes I would imagine it would be more cost effective if you modded it yourself. However the FQ models have full warranties. The only Evo models available in the UK are the FQ models. The FQ-300 is just a standard Evo X remapped for UK fuel.

Much like our Evos. They are remapped for US fuel.

Yah well they pay double what we do, so they should get a lil something extra.

not really, the thought that they are paying double is a misconception.Â* Yes it appears to be double because of conversion rates.Â* But take into comparison, hypothetical situation -> I'm currently making $150k/year, if I go to the UK and work, my salary would be the same but in pound sterling, meaning my annual salary is 150k pound sterling/year.

Cost of the EVO in UK is around 31k pound sterling
Cost of the EVO in US is around 31k USD

if you take comparative check vs salary they are paying no more or no less.

but because you're throwing in conversion rates, you're comparing apples to oranges.Â* So no they are not paying double of what we are they are paying exactly the same.

£29,999.00 according to the UK mitsu site. Close enough. ;)

THe FQ version of the EVOs are great. This one is no different, but too bad it won't come out in the US (I wouldn't get it though, too pricey for bolt-ons and CF parts)
