Also, the X represents a bit of a tangent in terms of what the Evo has been traditionally.Â* Having experienced both, I'd say that they definitely are appealing in different ways...but ultimately they both focus clearly on performance.Â* Â*I've been reading all kinds of threads about how the X is a pig and that it's watered down and not a true "Evo".Â* I'd be willing to bet that most of those people have never even seen an X in person...much less driven one.Â* I've only put 215 miles on mine so far but I can already tell that it is just as nimble (if not more) than my old 8.Â* Out of the box the X also feels faster (to me) than my 8 when it was stock.

Took me a little bit to get used to it...but it's definitely grown on me. I absolutely love the fact that they went completely black instead of having different insert colors for the seats.

personally... X is tempting to buy; unlike the VIII's and IX's, after-market support for the X's are at minimal. there are articles discussing parts for X on evom, but still waiting the right time to jump in. I've seen coil overs for X for ~$23k, U/LICPs, CAI, WB kits, ecutek just just release their software. Also the economy is a factor too, a black GSR wouldn't hurt also.

I picked my GG X at Roseville yesterday...Ya they were marked extremely up at 42-44k but I went in there just to look and actually taught some of the salesman about most of the new R&D that this new baby has and they were picking my brains lol...I ended up getting it for invoice...I didnt play around they brought out the manager and I spoke to him and the salesman directly through the whole deal...
