Pretty impressive performance... Well worth the $1K investment.

Procede EVO X (http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drives/Followup/articleId=125372?tid=edmunds.il.home.photopanel..2 .*) <--- Click!

From the posts in the past, a lot of guys here don't like Vishnu though...

I didn't think they were still involved in the Evo aftermarket world.

Tuning wise, there were a lot of issues with Vishnu tuning EVO IX's if I can remember...

I just know that a lot of members here who were tuned by them didn't produce as much power as it is supposed to.

I'd rather go with EcuTek or EcuFlash personally on my X

How is that guy still getting all the attention from the press when no one really uses him anymore?

The guy who wrote the story is named Josh Jaquot who used to run Sport Compact Car but left to work at Edmund's InsideLine. He and Shiv are old buddies from back in the day, so he does special favors for him, such as writing obvious commercials about his products like the one you just read on InsideLine. What sucks is that InsideLine is my favorite online site for car news, but that article is completely disappointing on so many levels and shows that propaganda for the sake of cronyism is alive.

Come on now, we all know "Its not what you know its who you know."

:? I dunno, I had a pretty good experience with these guys when they did my Evo 8. Tune was solid...put 33K miles on the tune without any issues. But just like anything else...results will vary.

Honestly I'm still considering Vishnu for my X...but I will be looking at other options as well as more people get the hang of the new motor...

I think for the most part they are in the BMW camp now...I think the X is more of an incremental revenue stream if anything else. Doesn't sound like they will go much further than ECU tuning.

A lot of 335's are having problems with the Procede, and Vishnu is about to do the "ghost" on them too.

No kidding? Got a link. I had contemplated the 335i and could not figure out if I should go with the Dinan flash if I went that path or the Procede.

What kinda problems are people having? Is Vishnu not providing any customer support again?

Spoke to a friend who owns a 335. Two of his buddies also own 335s. One of them was saying something about power consistency.

Wow, at one point I was considering taking my soon to be X to Vishnu since the Procede was all the rave.

But the possibility of being "ghosted" on has got me wondering. :? Oh and not to mention ECUtek is releasing their software soon. :)

opinions on ECUtek? well since i've heard ECUflash is working on something for the X i would just wait for ECUflash.

nothing wrong with ECUtek in the hands of the right tuner. but you'll save money if you just wait for the ECUflash to release.

I wouldn't trust to many folks without a physical shop.
