S-AFC II Install w/ Harness

I'm not very good at wiring but I wanted to give it a shot. It's definitely not "plug & play" like advertised. I have the unit mounted and the wires ran to the ECU. The harness is a perfect match but there is no where to plug in the harness coming from the unit into the harness extension. Thus, I imagine that I have to tap into the wires on the harness? This doesn't seem right for $130. Can anyone give me some tips or advice?

here's the link to the ECU wiring harness. all you have to do is splice in to where you need everything. i used the evo vii wiring diagram and the apexi wiring instructions. the evo viii diagram was pretty different from what we have. (if i remember correctly)

yup.. solder the wires ok.. dont crimpt it..

Power (red)----pin 25
ground (brown)----pin 26 (closer to ECU)
ground (black)-----pin 26 (away from ECU)
RPM (green)-----pin 58
TPS (grey)------pin 84
Air flow signal out (pink)----pin 90 (closer to ECU)
Air flow signal in (orange)------pin 90 (away from ECU)
Knock sensor (purple)------pin 78
