mmmmm tasty  ....

Hate to be a kill joy but your lighting and placement is horrible. you should build a little light box at work.. Its really easy. What I did was take a cardboard box and cut the sides out and replace the sides with some kind of transparent white paper or fabric, then cover the center section with black paper or fabric... fabric worked best for me, and then I just placed a small box under the fabric and then set the item you want to shoot on it and shine the light through the sides/ top ect... You can also do a completely white box and just bounce the light off the sides.

I was going to hassle him about the lighting too. And how much for the fire extinguisher, 750mL size?

I like the Scotch. I had my wife taste some once and she said it would go great with coke....

haha, stevo8, I knew I was going to get pwnt about the lighting.
I was going for a antique look, like, wood in the back ground, old fashioned yellow light bulb etc, the tequilas look good in that type of a background. Like a Sephia type of look, I think.

wzcx, Extinguisher is not for sale, since, its sole purpose is to save my ass from getting flamed, too bad its useless when I am being flamed on teh Intraweb. LAWL.

Man, I think I might need to take classes for Photography.

sprytsi- The Macallan is a very good scotch. I usually drink/sip it straight.

Hey stevo8, I looked at the links and its pretty amazing what that little box can do.
I think i am going to build myself one.

I have a question, Has anybody tried to make the background Black? How would that come out?

yeah a black background works great... I really wish I had the shots I took with mine but I lost the card they were on... I dont have much time messing with it but as long as you bounce the light off the sides youll be fine. the transparent white paper stuff on the two sides with a black back and bottom worked really good for me. just get two halogen shop lights and shine them through the sides. I got a black pillow case and put a box under it, tacked it up to the back of the box and then just played with that.. You can do all kinds of stuff with a light box.. If your good with PS you can set a green back ground as a green screen and it makes post process stuff a lot easier.. etc etc.

Holy yellow light batman!

Nice subjects but as said as others when you get a real chance pickup a light box and work with tabletop photography.
