My plan is moving west again someday, I'm really tired of snow.
I don't remember the brand of paint off the top of my head, I'll have to check it out.
Yes the 'Bird is modded. 4.6l V8, Trick tranny, high stall converter, Cobra 3.71:1 trac-lok rearend, CAI, full SS exhaust with Flow Masters, custom ECM flash, custom chassis bracing, Cobra 'R' hood, painted in my garage while living in Tacoma, WA..

Nice job! Maybe you should give the Evo the same "flame" treatment?

I just checked and it was "PlastiKote satin black laquer", laquer has less density than epoxy and enamel so it is better for heat conductivity although you will need to tuch it up more often.

No flames for EVO. I went 'old school' on the bird, polished aluminum wheels, loud dual exhaust, pearl flames.
I haven't made up my mind about the EVO...not sure if I want to gold, white or silver wheels, I may do light colored graphics. I really like the stealth (as you can get with an EVO) look with the low spoiler and blacked out IC. I even painted the hood vent grille with gloss white VHT to help hide it some.
