Team Mitsubishi managed again not to suck, with a respectable 4th and 7th-place finish. At 17 points in the manufacturers' cup, they now have as many points as they did the whole 2004 season.

Mitsubishi can be further buoyed by the fact that it still has to introduce active differentials to the car - the first of which could make its debut in Mexico if results in testing this week are positive. Panizzi has been appointed as the second nominated manufacturer points scorer on the event, but team boss Torii said he'd be talking to Galli about the possibility of the Italian doing the recce to gain more experience for the future.

4th and 7th is pretty good. Can't wait to see how they do with the active diffs. 8)
