$884? WORKS has them for $699 (http://www.worksevo.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=27&products_id=175) which is a reasonable price.

No info on Hankook pricing yet... Keep in mind these are competition (R-comp) tires, not street tires like the T1-S.

Check out Motorsport Technique in Hayward. I think they quoted $134 or $135 each for the T1S tires in stock size. I purchased the Proxes 4 tires from them for $115 each. Mounting and balancing is $19 each.

dont mean to jack your thread Tam, but had some questions regarding tires, and this is the closest thread i could find!

anybody kno how the Nitto NT555 runs? as a summer performance tire/some occasional track/and eventually wet. but mainly i want something similar to the toyo t1s' just not the pricing...

input would be greatly appreciated. just some more details of reality driving. its hard to believe some of the things the websites put up without actually getting genuine reviews from everyday peeps.

TIA.

oh, BTW, americas tire co. quoted me $125 per tire (includes balance, mount, free rotations) so roughly $500 +tax. compared to $854 +tax on the toyos! holy shit

I dont have any personal experience with the nt555's .... i do believe that there are 3 or so versions of that particular tire...some GSX owners have had issues with the 555's...I remember reading it on some dsm forum that I cant recall at the moment... Doh!

Also, AutoRnD gets a deep deal on Toyo...give Rishie a call...I am positive that he will give you a better quote than that last one!
