I only use photoshop for color and contrast correction, resizing and a tad of sharpening.

I shoot in RAW format and you would be suprised how flat they can be. Which is actually very good since you have much more to work with. Using photoshop is just like using a darkroom with traditional film.

I live in Oakland, soon to be in Alameda, but I make the trek through the tunnel to do bear creek every once and awhile.
