Anyone know if the Nikon/Sigma 18-200mm VR/OS lens work with the D40 or D60? If not, what are the alternatives? Thanks!

yes it works, atleast my friends that i tried out did. i wish i had it, so i wouldn't have to swap from my 18-55mm to 55-200mm :(

So true! Swapping ftl...

Thanks for the tip. Any other brands besides Nikkor or Sigma with a quality VR like 18-200mm len for a reasonable price?

me personally, i stick with nikkor and sigma hahah. you could always try craigslist. people sell there new one's for cheap or you can get a used one for even less.

you have to suck up a bit more for the Nikon 18-200, as that's the best one around.

good lens make your pic looks better...........:D

The Sigma 18-50 F2.8 with HSM works well on the D40:)
