This is his roomate I'm kinda foggy on the exact details. Leif was testing out his evo after he fixed whatever was wrong with the boost, I think some wires got disconnected off his xede.

He went to the hospital but is fine, no broken bones or anything.

Oh and only he was in the car I believe.... (Good thing I didnt go back)

yeah i lost it going around a turn (lift throttle..dumbass me), went mega sideways in both directions, flipped up onto someone's yard. i'm ok. lets seeeee....my left hand kinda hurts, cant make a tight fist with it (i could last nite but wutever), uhh i have an air brace on my ankle, uhhhmy neck hurts, there's a cut on the top of my head, and im probly gunna have a nice black eye soon. mite already be there, haven't looked in the mirror yet. i was in the hospital till like 315... mostly sitting, kinda don't remember most of it, i think i fell asleep a few times or something, but i was just chillin in the ER on a bed with that damn cloak on for most of the time.

i'm kinda looking at an E46 M3....lil bit safer too.
E46 is about the same speed stock, faster at top end. My friend Jason autocrosses one with a fully modded suspension and R compound tires. I've auto-x'ed it once, when my Evo was in the shop. Be careful, RWD cars can really lose it when it's slippery. Traction control will help keep you out of trouble though.

thx guys. no official word on new car...just thoughts running through my head. visited all the dealerships around here. cept mitsu, don't wanna go back, i know wut they have there.... m3 is by far the nicest car and best bang for the buck out there. new s2k isn't bad, but i don't want a convertable, expecially after what happened last nite. everything else is just a pile of crap.

I had the same misgivings about the Evo after I crashed mine. I checked out everything out there.

Murano (I know it's an SUV, sorry!)
C5
M3 (used cuz I am a cheap bastard)
Prius (sooo many tech goodies in it)

I decided to go with the Evo again since I had put so much time, effort and money into it. And no other car felt the same way to me when I drove them.

There is no way you can go wrong with the M3, Leif. And either way, you've got great taste in cars.

I agree with Cal, though - the Elise is such a great track car. I think it would be hard to beat, but it's probably not the best daily driver. :)

i've to agree with the rest of the guys on the elise. it's a very fun track car to have, very raw in nature. at less than 2k lbs, it can outrun probably 95% of the cars on the track. but then again depends on what you want out of the car. btw, m3 is a very good all around car. at least cops will treat u nicer in an m3 then in an evo. even if you have a loud exhaust. :(

before i bought my evo, i had two choices. my evo and e36 m3. im glad i got my evo, but i *really* wanted that m3. you talking about getting an e46? that would be the sh!t...big baller, shot caller for sure. only problem, is, the price. when you talk about e46 m3, $$$$$$$$$ usually follows it. but money well spent, bmw is an awesome manufacturer, M POWER!!! good luck in your search of a new whip.

friend had an e36..nice car but so dated looking. interior looks like my 90 535i. nice cars and all, but between the money from my evo, my prelude which is still in the driveway, and the excess money i'll be making and have nothing to spend it on, i could probably come up with enough for a used e46.

One thing to consider though, Leif. The insurance company may just decide to replace the car with a new one rather then just paying it off. My insurance company had decided to do that after I had wrecked my red Evo, but since I had already purchased my black one, they decided to just pay it off.

Something to consider.

And don't forget to consider the Prius. You'll never have to worry about racing in that thing.

man... sorry about your white Evo, it looked just like mine and I know you loved it :cry: Well E46M3 is a very nice car, power is great except if you want to Mod this car you better have lots of $CaSh$ coz a full Exhaust will cost over $3000 and GruPP-S intake cost like $1000... once you get better you can come to my house and test drive mine if you like, just becarful with it :D
