The red one isn't a FQ400. It looks to be a FQ3XX something. It doesn't have the FQ400 lip, vortexOrZ and side-mirrors.

I think the FQ400 only comes in the grey.

I don't have the exact numbers. I believe it is around 400hp thus the FQ-400. It is a factory setup. That is, it is tuned by mitsubishi. Very badass car.

Kinda both, actually. As I understand it, to get around the emissions laws in the UK, the Evos are tuned up after they leave the factory, after which they get the "FQ" designation... Or something like that; I'd love to hear from someone who fully understands what goes on. Anyway long story short, they effectively come that way from Mitsubishi and are warrantied. Keep in mind that over there, an Evo costs about 50% more than what it does here.

The FQ series are built by the same company that makes the WRC motors for Mitsubishi in Bristol. Their name is Flow Race Engines. Rampage and Owen Developments also have their hands in it. Most of the bolt on's are HKS.

The FQ400 has a fully built motor with forged pistons and the like. It is also running MOTEC. It is fully warrantied for 3yr/36k.

... Awesome. Gotta love Top Gear more than any of the shows in NA. It sure beats watching lame commentary's on Nascar Nation! muwhahaha!!!
