After i installed my MBC i noticed that my check engine light turned on after my initial run what could possibly happen?

over boost

boost guage is dialed before 1 bar i havent even turned on the knob

No then you will for sure get a Check light. Are you running a test pipe? Did you cap all the vac sources you didnt use with the MBC?

i caped the 2 nipple with the cap that came with the set.

if you are going to the meet tomorrow, i can bring my OBDII scanner and read the code for you, actually forcedfed should have one there.

thanks for the reply i found out what happened...... when i got everything back together i brain fart and forgot to plug the MAF din and that registers on the ECU then all i did was just reset the ECU and i have no more Service Light. :oops:

Sorry for being "off topic", but hey Brian, it's impressive that you have both a dB meter and an OBD-II scanner. You must have a nicely equipped garage. I envy you. :)

Actually that stuff is pretty cheap to buy.

now lets not confuse a code reader with a scantool theres a real big difference. doen't it suck getting undocumented or (manufacture specific codes) I hate that thats the whole point of obdII is to unify manufactures under one language aaahhhh :?
