It would only take 30 minutes to swap out those parts. Would you really consider paying $400?

It most likely correctable. Read the mailer they sent you. It's always pay a fine or fix your crap and pay $10.

Oh probably because you need to have a state ref verify that your intake is legit. I usually get them for tint and front plate, something a chp or local pd can sign off. never hurts to call them and ask what to do. Good luck man.

Call up the number on the ticket and make sure it's one of those fix-it tickets or whatever. That would be totally shitty to pay that much over an intake and license plate.

Yeah, dude. If I got a ticket like that I would just go into a happy public place with families and happy people enjoying their days and I'd pull a shotgun out and start blowing people away. When I run out of bullets I'd start throwing grenades. After that I'd start flicking boogers as a last resort to kill.

But boogers have never been proven to kill?

i know.. Ive been lurking around the forum and reading bout people experience with the ref and the system itself; thats why i was not in a hurry to call the ref. When opened and read he courtesy letter tonight was totally surprised.

So I was at court yesterday... i got the fine reduced to $150 or I can see the state ref and get the fine waived off. Im still deliberating if i should or should not see the ref, but i have 3 more month to think about it

If you only have a few mods, I say get it corrected and see the ref. I go thit with 540.00 last year for having a CAI though. I found it easier to just pay the fine though, easier than having to go back to stock and to deal with the ref. Glad to hear your fine was reduced though :icon_biggrin:.

So the california state ref is active again? Last I heard they were not in operation because of budget cuts.

A CAI isnt that hard to swap out for the stocker is it? Swap it out hit up the ref once you've been passed get that $150 waived and put that CAI back on.
