Try the new Performance friction compound from road-race engineering, or endless SS-S. Both work well. Be prepared for new pads every two events or so.

I used the RRE / Performance Friction pads last track event and I liked them. They are alot less noisey and dusty than the Carbotech Panther plus's I used in my stoptechs on my old wrx.

They do make some noise though, but not as bad as a full-race pad. I think any street/race pad worth a damn will make _some_ noise. They never faded and I was beating on the brakes on purpose since I was testing out the rotors.

They are priced well too at around $150.

I have used Carbotech Panter +'s on my Type R, and I have nothing but praise for them. However, they do dust and noise a little.. if you don't mind.
