So I noticed that my calipers are kinda fading so I want to repaint them, someone told me to use dupli-color, is there anything else I should look into?

Stock???? Cause stock calipers are not painted, they are powdercoated. Painting over that my look crappy.

i just re-clearcoated them, came out well. It's high temp "engine enamel" style clearcoat, resistant to heat & other harsh conditions. get a few cans worth to be sure you have enough. Of course mine were not badly faded yet, just some clear coat peeling off. The high temp stuff should hold up better.

I am looking to repaint my calipers as well. I am not sure how well these aftermarket paint kits stand up if you track your car though. Duplicolor rates theres to 500F, G2 caliper paint kit rates theres at 900F. That is a little better, but if you track your car, those calipers can get pretty hot. Anybody know anything better out there?

I would sand them really good first before using anything. Using a primer is a good idea too. After the red paint then use a clear coat to have that "nice" looking finish.

dude, my caliphers seriously need a new paint job too. A friend of me told me that the peeling is caused by the bleeding of the breaks
