It's $35 at the site. For norcalufo and american auto-x you don't have to be a member. For SCCA, you do and it's $90/yr + the site fee.

I forget how much GGLC is since you pay for it online at motorsportreg, but it's a little more expensive. However, you get a full day, a 70person cap normally, and lunch. You don't have to be a member, but you don't get first dibs on registration.

No but the fed will.

I figure if larry flynt can ask for money, I can form an autocrosser entrance fee lending company (AEFLC) that finances autocross entrance fees through federally backed securities. With the meltdown in the economy I am forecasting a growth market here.

I need a ceo, care to apply for the position?

I pay a $1 in salary plus a generous golden parachute and useless and unwarrented bonuses for missing performance targets.

I got hammered by Josh and Arnold. I managed a 46.4, which had the potential to be a mid to high 45. I tried to take the last turn a littler wider but ended up hitting the gravel.

One thing I need to really work on now is knowing when to break or just lift with the slicks. I swear those things want me to stay on the accelerator 24/7.

Seat time brother...and yes, you can stay on the throttle longer and sometimes don't have to lift with the sticky r-comps...because of the extra grip.

Harold is a top National driver and just like Edison hinted at, he's placed in the top 5 over the last few years in BSP, he know's his car and it's prepped to the ruleset. In the dry, I don't think Josh he beat him. In the wet, it'll even out the odds, but I'd still bet on Harold, nothing personnel, it's just that Harold's that good of a driver.

im with dennis on this one....

Josh is a very good driver, i think he can do it with more time, as of right now... harold is his mark

harold beat josh by a second on 50 second course
national course are usually 60+ seconds

harold lost by pretty big margin to bsp evos at nats

Harold is a top National driver and just like Edison hinted at, he's placed in the top 5 over the last few years in BSP, he know's his car and it's prepped to the ruleset. In the dry, I don't think Josh he beat him. In the wet, it'll even out the odds, but I'd still bet on Harold, nothing personnel, it's just that Harold's that good of a driver.
All I have to say is...good luck...

Dennis

You both will eat your words by the end of the season, I'll make sure of it. Last slush series, in the dry, I was only .5 sec behind Harold - he only gets me on his last run because he is so good at improving on the next run he gets. Last sunday on my second run I was .5 sec behind his best and 3rd run, with 1 cone though :(

So really I am only .5 sec behind him and I think I have a lot of learning room left, I mean I have only been autoxing for a little over 1 year ;)

No, no. Keep telling me that I can't do it... it will only make me want to do it more and more :)

My car may be the overdog but I haven't even come close to maxing out the BSP mods yet ;)

If you want to beat Harold, ditch the Kumho's. Hoosier is the faster tire...by far, and now the only r-comp tire that pays when you play.
You also need to go down to SD in March for the National Tour and LA for the Pro Solo if you want to see were you stand in the real BSP world. SFR has only one National level driver that competes in BSP, and he's beating you. Whether it's by .001 or 10 seconds, you are still second. I'm not trying to make fun of you either.
Incase you are not following the SCCA forum, a lot of BSP drivers and non drivers are pretty bent on having the Evo reclassed, as it's a big overdog. It tore up ESP...then it was reclassed to BSP, where it's been tearing it up ever since. Honestly, I except it to be reclassed soon. I know it's been thrown out there about being pushed into ASP...and possibly making it's own Rally car class.

I plan on stepping up to the plate for at least one of the tours down south. I am also pretty set on making a trip to nationals this year too ;)

And DD, I have only had 2 chances to drive against the x-Nat champ and I am still getting better at driving my car since the rear diff install. I hear you on the hoosiers, maybe if I get rich I'll buy a set for the big time events.

Josh...I wasn't trying to bust your balls, just pointing out what I've seen over the last three years while I was in that Region.
I do remember you talking about going to the Nationals this year. My suggestion to you is find out what type of surface it's being held on, and then find something local that's pretty similar so you can adjust your suspension, and then fine tune during the practice session. It's usually the day prior to the start of the Nationals, but you have to sign up early, and it usually fills up in one day too. Not sure if you are on the SCCAForums? If you are not, start looking.

Good theory, I'll have to try that next time :)

Your 1st on my list if Arnold can make it to SD.
