Here's one i took this morning from the same parking lot. A little bit of residual morning fog does a lot for morning sunrises. :)

Damn sick shots. I love the vignette in the first, I would have done that on #2 personally. It might be the host but they look a tad soft or possibly out of focus. Hit em with some more sharpening and they should really pop.

Well that explains the soft images... Hit up something like a 50mm 1.8 or tamron has some decent 2.8's floating around used that would help a lot. Also if you can find a cheap 2.8 promaster its just a relabeled sigma lens and would be a HUGE upgrade for you.

Yeah those first pics are definitely oof. I need to learn how to use the AF points better. The last pic of the sunrise is in much better focus.
I'm looking at the nifty fifty as my next lens right now. It's $85 brand new. 50mm 1.8.

good to hear! I've heard it's one of the best bang for your buck lens on the market right now.
