I always thought modifying any part of the cooling system was always a-ok? I think this might be a repost cuz I remember learning that from a post here.

What does "Ignition Bridges and coil modifications" mean? Does that mean the Sun Auto Hyperforce is okay?

I left all my gauges in. My most obvious gauge sensor was the EGT probe. I think I got lucky my smog tech was pretty chill. He didn't even say anything about it.

My boost gauge MAP sensor is mounted to the firewall. The vacuum line is tee'd off the fuel pressure regulator. My water temp sensor is mounted on my thermostat housing (42 draft designs). So both of those sensors are pretty transparent as I purposely tried to make the wiring and hose routing blend into the background.

Those docs state that the stock FMIC is good for smog, which make sense since it's stock. I'm not sure if you're trying to say aftermarket FMICs are OK, but from the looks of the document you posted they would need ARB approval. If you're running stock plumbing with an aftermarket FMIC i think you could get away with it.

I just got smogged last week and I didn't take my chances with my Nisei FMIC - especially since registration was due the next day. :)

From what I've read through searching is that any Intercooler (stock or aftermarket) is fine as long as the turbo hasn't been modified in any way.
