we need a dyno day!

just like i said, we need a dyno day. ive always gone to other groups dyno day butin buddys cars and now that i have mine i want to dyno it. im running stock but i have parts that will go on as soon as i get a base line figure. any one want to set it up? count me in.

because his dyno numbers were low and he probably think the number isn't accurate.

I guess I should be happy about mine then.. I hit 299whp w/ cams, stock turbo, s-afc and ebc. :)

Gruppe-S dyno is accurate, there dyno #'s are very close to vishnu's dyno. a few Evo pull out some good numbers around 270-280whp last time, but a few Evo were down at 21X-230 range even they got some ECU flash n intake n etc~~ ATP dyno #'s are way too high IMO, even a stock Evo could get 230-240whp and every body could get close to 300whp with full exhaust and a tuned ECU..

most stock evos' baseline at our dyno were between 206-215 including the MR. There's nothing wrong w/ our dyno. Its "chassis load" based.

say stock evo is 275hp at the crank.. take the 25% drivetrain loss due to AWD, thats about 206 at the wheels. pretty accurate if you ask me.

when i dynoed my car the first time at gruppe-s i thought it was pretty low also i have the p-2 and helix catback at the time oh i have the drop in hks also anyway i got 235 whp with 91 piss gas then after i got the downpipe and cat delete i went back the again and got 250 whp i guess its very reasonable as far as power is concern. I would like to try differrent dyno to see if it's any close to gruppe-s just for comparisson.

You know there's always a possibilty that the cars may have had issues causing low #s.

I got the same peak HP numbers from the XEDE and catback at Vishnu as I did with my P2 and catback at Gruppe-S, and I think that both dynos get about the same numbers for stock evos too, so I think that the numbers between the two are comparable.

Gruppe-S or SRM would be cool for a dyno day.

eip racing in san jose by has an awd mustang dyno. i will contact the owner and see what he can do for us norcalevo members. is this dyno meet for baseline pulls only? a handful of member's here got their baseline pull and tuned their SAFC at that shop.

It's up to you guys, if you would like a dyno day at our place (gruppe-s) just let Cal or myself know we'll set it up. We just would prefer to have at least 10 folks dynoing at $50 a head as that covers us blocking a day off for it.

Kinda tough to do a "dyno day" on that dyno, you need to remove your wheels and mount the dyno to your hubs. Not a big deal if you're doing tuning, but I would hate to do that to 10 cars in one day, lol.
