this is probably a no brainer question, but does the evo pass with an aftermarket exhaust? right now, my car has a perrin downpipe, testpipe and 3in hks hi power exhaust.

You would probably want to swap in a stock cat on there. Especially since the tech would must likely do a visual check for the cat. I don't think anyone has passed smog with a test pipe. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Technically, no one can pass smog w/ tp...but there's always ways around that...*ahem* but it's gonna cost...but not by much..heheheh...

OP: PM me if you need the hook up price to pass smog w/o removing any mods whatsoever...mwahahahahahahahahahaha....

heheh thanks guys. btw, does the 06 EVO's need to be smogged? i heard a random tip from someone that they didn't need to until 2011 and i just want to clarify that.

one more thing. i put the stock exhaust back on. would it pass with a hks cone intake and hks bov? just wanna know.

visual no sniffer it should as long as it has a good tune on it
